Did you know?

Helpful facts about our community that you may not be aware of.

  • We live in unincorporated Arapahoe County? When purchasing large items be sure and mention this to the sales person as the sales tax is lower in Arapahoe County.

  • Garage door openers are the sole responsibility of the owner?

  • It is against the HOA covenants to leave your trash can out for more than one day? (Before or after the scheduled pick-up.)

  • The landscape maintenance and rehabilitation is the responsibility of the HOA board? However, residents are strongly encouraged to design, enhance and support the areas around their individual unit fence.

  • A gurgling noise from your toilet bowl is the first sign that your sewer system is forming a clog? (Tree roots are commonly a culprit among other things.) Once you have a clog severe enough to cause a sewer backup only a plumber can clear it out. There is a product called Rid-x which when used correctly is an effective and inexpensive way to maintain the sewer line and prevent future clogs from forming. Rid-x is generally used in septic tanks, but it can also be used for all waste systems in your house. It is a bacterial enzyme that is totally safe for pipes and fixtures and actually breaks down the oils, solids and wastes inside the plumbing pipes. And because it is organic it is safe to use in every type of plumbing pipe. Rid-x isnot for breaking up existing clogs, but rather for preventing them from forming. It's a long-term preventative tool. Rid-x is available at Home Depot, (the closest Lowes does not carry it), and may also be available at Walmart and Dollar General Stores.
